World Thinking Day

World Thinking Day 2026: Our Friendship

Every year on 22 February, we celebrate World Thinking Day.

We’re part of a bigger movement - the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS) - and World Thinking Day is a chance for us to connect with 10 million Girl Guides and Scouts across the globe. And to shout about the amazing things we do.

World Thinking Day has a different theme every year for all the Girl Guides and Girl Scouts around the world to celebrate together. This years' theme for World Thinking Day is 'Our Friendship', and it's particularly special as it marks 100 years of World Thinking Day!

World Thinking Day 2026 is the second part of a 4-year journey for members to reflect on the past, present and future of our global movement. It's a chance for you to reflect and celebrate your friendships and the amazing global community you are part of as Girl Guides and Girl Scouts.
