Girls' Attitudes Survey
A snapshot of girls’ and young women’s lives.
Every year we ask over 2,500 girls and young women aged 7 to 21, both inside and outside of guiding, to tell us how they feel about their everyday lives.
Since 2009, Girlguiding has given girls and young women a platform to speak out on issues that matter to them through the Girls’ Attitude Survey – our flagship research is enabled thanks to funding raised by players of People’s Postcode Lottery.
Now in its 16th year, this survey reveals the range of challenges girls are facing today – from appearance pressures to online harm – and how these are impacting their confidence and wellbeing.
